For an album release, a product launch or a brand night in Manhattan, Music For A While in Chelsea gives you two rooms: the Vinyl Room for playback and conversation, and the Club Room for the party. Up to 300 guests standing.
This guide covers what a launch needs from a venue and how the space can be set up.
What a launch needs from a venue
A launch is part party, part production. Look for:
- Sound good enough to play the record, or the reel, properly
- A second room, so the playback or talk does not fight the party
- Places to put brand assets, product and a photo moment
- A way to capture content on the night
- A private entrance for a guest list and press
How the rooms can be used
A common setup runs the playback or announcement in the Vinyl Room, on the vinyl system in front of the record wall, then opens the Club Room for the DJ set. Each room has its own private bar.
The podcast studio inside the Vinyl Room records audio and 4K video for up to four people, so interviews with the artist or founder can be filmed during the event.

Extras
Red carpet, photographers, photo and 360 booths, espresso carts and dessert tables can be added. Open bar packages and passed canapés are handled in house and priced per guest.
Ready when you are.
